So I went a bought a tree stand, but Missy and I didn't do a very good job putting it up and it is a little tilted. lol Oh well. Our tree is also very etable. We strung popcorn to put on it and put candycanes. Oh and the only lights we had were one string on pink, one green, one red. They were rejects from sorting lights for the temple for FHE.

Lucky
So yesterday I had my last test in psychology. Well when I go to school I put my backpack in the back seat and take out my wallet so when I get to school I can get to my parking card easily. Well there wasn't a lot of traffic for some reason that morning and I got there early. So I decided to take a ten min nap in my car. Then I went to Chemistry. When I get to Psych I start to take out my wallet so that I can get my ASU id number off my ASU ID. Well, it wasn't there! You have to have it to turn in your test at the end of class. I was freaking out. I had forgot to put in my backpack becasue of my nap earlier that day. But guess what? They didn't make enough tests so the TA had to go run and make copies. It is a good thing my class is close to the institute building. So I was able to get my ID before they even started the test. Which I feel like I did ok on, which hopefully is true.
Embarrassing Story
Ok so the other day Missy had to go to Wal-Mart for something on the way back from FHE. Well I had to go to the bathroom. So I walk in the bathroom and I think to myself,"There aren't very many stalls in here" and then I saw the urnals....."Oh crap!" It is a good thing there was nobody in there. So I walk out and go into the girls. The only person who saw me was the Janitor, and I was laughing at myself pretty hard. Why can't they make all the stores the same direction. This particular one was exactly opposite from the one in Show Low and that includes the location of the restrooms.

Holidays!
So I didn't realize that next week is Thanksgiving! I don't have class. Hallelujah! lol Anyway I am so excited for the holidays. I need to buy more Christmas music, speaking of which. I have Jason for Christmas but I have no idea what to get him, or Mom and Dad. Anyone got any ideas? I miss the snow and the cold. I wore a jacket today but by the middle of the day it was too hot for it ): I guess that is why it is called the valley of the sun. Happy Holidays! and Merry CHRISTmas everyone!

TESTS!
Okay because of Vetrans day on Tuesday, I had all of my tests on Thurshday. That is my Chemistry, Psychology, Religions tests, and my paper for English. I spent most of Tuesday and pretty much all of Wednesday studying. I was worried that I got a B on that one but I checked online and I think he curved it so I got an A. In psych I had to get a good grade because I didn't do very good last time. Anyway I got a 47 out of 48. Yay! Then for Religions I didn't study near as much for that calss as much as I usually do. But it was still easy 102 out of 100. Yay, all of that studying paid off. As for English it was acctualy a first draft and my final is not due till this week.

Crazy car inncident!
Ok so I pulling out of the parking lot at Gecko Grill and this guy ran into my car! Like literally running, sprinting, with his own two feet! I was going maybe ten miles an hour. He hit the passenger side of my windshield and, almost shattered it by the way, rolled over to almost detatch my mirror from my car. Then he....just kept running. I was so scared. I sat there for ten seconds or something and then I parked and got out. I looked around and the guy was no where to be seen. I was like oh crap! it was a hit and run! Except I wasn't the one who ran. That was actually a funny thought a little while latter. So after that I left and went home. He seemed okay, I mean he kept running. I couldn't think of anything else to do anyway.

pumpkins once again
Ok so I didn't get to take pictures or even put a candle in my last attempt at pumpkin carving because by the time I thought about it, three days latter, my pumpkin had rotted and had green mossy stuff in it. Gross! Anyway so Missy and I decided we wanted to carve them again. I think Missy's favorite part is frying the seeds, which are really good by the way.
what a mess!

Carving Pumpkins!/Pushing Daisies
Last weekend Missy and I decieded to carve pumpkins. She was mainly excited to fry the pumpkins seeds, which I had never had before. They were actually pretty good. To carve the pumkins we bought one of those little kits whith the little knifes and pictures. I made a witch and Missy made a little devil thing. Anyway it was really fun but they rotted in like three days. We didn't even get a chance to put them outside or put candles in them or take a picture. So I think we are going to do it again.
Oh while we ate our pumpkin seeds we watched this show that Missy found and bought the first season for. It is called Pushing Daisies. I love it. I think it is hilarious. It is about a guy that when he touches dead things they come back to life, and when he touches them again they are dead forever. So his childhood sweetheart died and he touched her to bring her back but now he can't touch her again or it will kill her forever. It sounds like it could be gross, but it isn't really;I like it. The things he does for her because he can't touch her are just adorable. Anyway, Missy and I let our other roommate watch some of them and I am not so sure she liked it. lol

Tests once again
So next week I have three tests and one paper for my English class due. I am not too worried about the religion of the worlds test seeing as I got 109/100 last time. I am a little worried about psychology but I am even more nervous for Chemistry. I am going to a tutorish thing today to get some help because I need it.

Crazy Day!
Ok so this morning I got up at 5:30, like I always do on Tuesday and Thursday so that I can car pool with my roommate who has a 6:30 institute class. I don't mind going early really because A it saves me on gas money, and B I beat most of rush hour traffic (which I hate). Well right when we are about to leave, at six, my roommate realizes that she is going home today at two and I have class till two thirty so we can't drive together. I don't feel like going early so I wait till 6:45 because my class starts at 7:30. 45 minutes should be long enough to get to class. WRONG! There was so much traffic it was so annoying. I should have gone down Mclintock instead of Rural but no, I didn't. Then when I got to school I was happy because there wasn't going to be as much traffic. Wrong again! Something was wrong with the gate at the institute parking lot. It would wait like 2min between people before it would let them go through. So there was a line in both directions of traffic all the way out to Rural and University. It wasn't quite that bad when I got there but, I swear I sat there for fifteen to twenty minutes. The place wasn't even crowded when I finally got in there. Deep breaths...
Then, no my story is not over yet, I stayed up last night making sure that my lab report was good and I didn't have any mistakes. I text this girl in my group this morning, trying to figure out which box to put it in, and she tells me that it was due yesterday and that it saying Thursday was a typo. So then I am kind of freaking out about that and how upset my group was going to be at me.
Then yesterday I was doing my Religions homework and I fell asleep on the floor, and after that I did not want to do it any more. So I thought I would do it in between breaks at school. That wasn't too bad actually I had ten minuets to spare before class when I got it done, but part of the time I would have spent on that home work I spent trying to e-mail my TA for my lab to figure out whether out lab would even get graded. wow that was a run on sentence(lol)
Well after my last class I was going to go strait home but for some reason I felt like I should stop by my TA's office, even though his office hours ended twenty minutes ago while I was in class. I really didn't want to. I just wanted to get home. I did it however, and surprisingly enough he was still there. He told me because it said Thursday on the paper he wasn't grading them till tonight. I was so happy. Even if I could have figured that out Monday it gave me peace of mind to know that right then.
I all I have to say about today is that I am glad I read my scriptures and said my prayers this morning, or I probably would have run into someone or something. I would get mad at times but surprisingly I kept a pretty cool head through the day. I probably would have been in a terrible mood and freaking out if I hadn't read my scriptures this morning.
Sorry for the long ranting session but it made me feel better

test results
Ok so my reigions test wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. It have around twenty extra credit points and I got a 109 out of 100 on it. My phsychology test was good. I knew more than I thought I would. I got a 42 out of 45. It was acctually out of 50 but he curved it. Chemistry on the other hand I wish I had done better. I didn't do bad but the questions I missed were the no brainer ones. I got all the hard one right. Anyway that one I got 160 out of 200. There really were only 25 questions and I only missed four, but this one didn't get curved to many smart people. So right now I have a B but you can drop your lowest test score so I am not too worried.

Tests
So I had a Religions test on Tuesday. I studied all Monday. Then today I had a psychology test and tried to study all day yesterday. But I was sick of it so I went and played soccer for like two hours last night. Then I had to stay up till around 1:00 to finish studying. Then I had to wake up at 5:30. I was so tired today. I actually took a forty five minute nap on a chair at the institute building. lol Next week I have a chemistry test too. I also had to write my first paper in english. Just lots of things to do.

Camping!
Homemade icecream in Strawberry
Boxer shorts!
When we rode up we bought these boxer shorts with hearts all over them. The were amazing. I didn't like how they looked on me so I just wore my shorts. Missy didn't like the way they looked either so she wore her pants over them and just left her pants unbuttoned so everyone could see them. lol Ingrid wore hers though. Oh and Bonnie didn't want to be in the picture so she just held the cheese in the pic. lol

Bored
Things are going good. I have my classes figured out and everything but I still have way to much free time on my hands. My roommate and I watched like four movies yesterday because neither of us had class. lol I really need to get a job, but I haven't felt that motivated. Today I have to take an english test. ): I don't really know why. Everyone who has english has to sign up for this test. It stinks. It takes two hours too.

Roommate
So I finally got to meet my room mate Monday after class. I like her. She is an art major wich is cool because I love to draw so we have something in common. I think we have the same times Tuesday and Thursday so we get to car pool! yay. We both tried to take a shower at the same today which kind of almost made me late, but that is ok. I guess I am reverting back to night showers. lol
ASU
So today was my second day at ASU. It was good I mean I have found all of my classes ok and I like my professors, except one of them has a french accent and it is really hard to understand her. I like my lab group for Chem. They all seem like they are willing to do stuff so nobody will end up doing everything all by themselves. My professor for my Chem lecture class is really funny, he cuses a lot though. Institute is fun and choir too. Religions of the world seems like it is going to be an exciting class but it is a lot farther away than any of my other classes. Oh and I have to buy this cps thing that you push during class so that yoy can answer questions and stuff. I guess it is for participation but this girl said that it cost her like $60 bucks to buy and register for. yuck! Oh and I still haven't gotten use to the fact that by just walking down the street I get all sticky. Oh and traffic stinks. It took me seven min just to get on the freeway. Once I was on it it wasn't too bad but jeese.
Oh Rhett McNeil this kid I in my graduating class is in my institute class and my Chemistry, so I see him every day except Friday. Which is kind of cool. The only kid I know of from Show Low going to the tempe campus at ASU and I will see him every day. Crazy.

GRAND CANYON
Squirrel
So there were these squirrels that would come right up to you because they wanted you to feed them and all these people thought that was so cool. There were a lot of people from different countries and some of the languages I didn't recognize at all, I could only guess what they were. Anyway everybody was getting so excited about this squirrel and it was actually kind of funny. I guess since I grew up with squirrels running through the back yard and chasing jack rabbits on the four wheeler it wasn't as cool to me, but the other peoples reactions where really funny.
Gift shops
We had fun a lot of fun at the gift shops at the grand canyon. I actually did think about buying this cowboy hat, and a pocket knife, and a regulat hat and ... I ended up getting a five dollar bracellet that I actually don't know where is since I just moved and don't know where a lot of things are. lol We went to Sedona to go home and the gps told us to back through Flagstaff to get home so we pretty much went to Sedona for the gift shops. Honestly I was already sick of the gift shops by then, but somehow Jason got me in a good mood. The goofy kid.

I have a place to live!
i have a place to live. It is on Gilbert and the sixty. which is nice because i am pretty close to Andrea and Christy and it is right next to the 60. It is actually an apartment and I am sharing a room with another freshman to ASU but i have no idea where she is from or even her name. she hasn't moved in yet. There is only three of us total. The other girl is older and has her own. room. I like it. It is 200 a month plus a third utilities but it is nice. I have looked at other places that were not as good for more money. Hopefully I can move in this weekend when Dad can bring his truck. I can't move next weekend because I am getting my wisdom teeth out. Hopefully I am not incapacitated with giant chipmunk cheeks when I go to school the following Monday.

AHHHHHH!
I have no idea where I am going to live still. I thought I was going to live with this girl but she found a house already so that is not going to happen. I am sure I can find something, and if worst comes to worst I should be able to live with one of my sisters for a while if I have too. So I guess the situation is not too bad but still. School starts in like two weeks. Yikes that is a little freaky too.

Finding a House!
So this weekend is Christy's bridal shower so I am in the valley and I am going to look for places to live with Jeanie Dewitt tomorrow. We were going to live with Shauna but she is living forever away from ASU and it is not cheap so the kind of fell through. Anyway hopefully i can find something tomorrow

Exercise
I went running with Shauna the last two days. I was very proud of myself. We ran a little over a mile. I don't have soccer any more ):sad. So I need to get in the habit of running so that I can stay in shape. Running makes me feel so much better. You would think I would be enticed to go running more often.

Christy's Bridal Shower
So I made and am making Christy's bridal shower invitations. The one in the valley is the 19th from 7-9 at her soon to be mother-in-laws house. I think they are cute, but I used a hot glue gun to put the buttons on them which resulted in little blisters on my thumb and middle finger. I
still have to make the ones for her shower in Show Low but still haven't figured out all the details for that one. I think it is going to at home, on the 26th at either 4-6 of 3-5.

Work week
Ok so going from three weeks of working 20 to this week in which I work 47 really stinks. I usually like the day shift but Christy is up this whole week but I work every day except Thursday. Friday and Sat I acctually work 10 hours shifts. :( I guess I complain to much. But all I have to say is at least sonic no longer has $0.99 shakes, and I do make pretty goo tips. I think I am actually hopping on the fourth of July so that will bring in major bucks.

Yay!!!
Dallas figured out how to get rid of that little comment about having a new nephew that was under all of my posts!!

Oops
So I still haven't figured out how to get rid of this little thing under all of my posts about getting a new nephew. He is now three months old and wasn't born today. Andrea tired to help me get rid of it but she couldn't find it, so I need to ask Natalie about. Maybe she will know how to get rid of it.

Twilight
Okay so i love this book, or should say books. Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse! I know it may sound a little cheesy because it is about a girl who falls in love with a vampire but they are amazing. The final book in the series comes out in August, Midnight Sun! Oh and there is a movie for the first one Twilight coming out in Dec. which I am also excited about. So I would recommend them to anyone, although it is a love story so I am not sure how much boys would like them. But it does have a lot of action, and is very intense since the vampire is fighting with himself not to eat the girl, Bella. Jason and Stephen get a kick out of watching me read them because I laugh a lot and make a lot of different facial expresions. They actually time me one time to see how long it would take me to start laughing after I started reading. I didn't know that until they started laugh at my laughing after about a min and a half. lol I was reading Crime and Punishment the other day and Jason said to me, " That must be a boring book, you aren't smiling or laughing." That made me laugh. And yes Crime and Punishment is not a very amusing or funny book.
Orientation
Okay so today I had orientation at ASU. I had to go to the down town campus because I am majoring in nursing and that is where the nursing program is. It was fine, kind of boring actually and so many things about my schedule is so frustrating! I have to take this one credit course called ASU101 teaching me about asu and it is only offered at down town asu. ARG!!!! So frustrating and then I have to take Chemistry 101 which I thought was fine but Natalie said it is like High School Chemistry. So why would I have to take that? I took Chemistry and Physics in high school and I got an A then. Hopefully they will let me take Chemistry 113 instead. They also expect you to live on ASU campus when you are and incoming freshman, and no offence but I am don't exactly trust the other kids not to get drunk and party. ASU is not exactly the most spiritual place. Then I just arg, they make you feel like are a stupid person. They kept going on about how it is very competitive and if you can't keep 2.75 GPA you are going to get kicked out. Just made you feel like they expected you to fail some of your classes. You know some of us actually do know how to study and have come to ASU to get an education and not to party. Other than that it was just great. I met this girl who grew up in England and that was cool. It was just a little awkward because almost everyone had someone with them and I didn't know any one and I am not exactly the type of person who makes friends in point two seconds. I did find some people I could talk to though. I could have had Jamie come with me but I didn't want to put her through that. The part about figuring out my schedule I would have liked to have someone there giving me advise, but no ASU takes them off to learn about how they should donate to ASU. That is why I didn't have Jamie come, I knew they were going to do that. Then we got done at 2:30 instead of 3:00 which normally would made me really excited but Jamie wasn't going to be there till three so I had to sit there by myself with the people in charge of orientation. Awkward, especially when I told him I wasn't going to live on campus. It was a easier to find and everything than I thought it was going to be so that was nice.

Oops
okay so this thing under all of my posts about getting a new nephew today. Ya I don't know how to get rid of that. So I am going to have to ask natalie about that the next time I see her.
Job
Wooo! I have a job for the summer at sonic. Acctually i am not too excited about it but i need the money and nobody else wants to higher you for two months. This way I can pay mom and Dad back for Andrea and Jarred's car that they sold me. That I am excited about.

Graduation
The last part of this year has been hecktic. The play Crazy for You is over and it kind of makes me sad but it was fun and I can have a life again. I went on a science club trip to San Diego which was fun. Then the next week was finals and then it was off to senior trip. The bus ride stunk and Mrs. fredley made sure we watched movies till three in the morning on full volume. Arggg! Six Flags was fun though and Sarah and I convinced kayla to ride the rollercosters. I think my favorite was Desa vu. Sorry I can't spell. Anyway they next day we went to Disney Land! That day Sarah Kayla Kyle and I all hung out. It was tons of fun. Then Thursday I graduated, and I think it snowed the whole time. It is a good thing it was in the gym. I had to give a speech which i think went ok, i am just not the speaking type. Then thay night was grad night. Not very many people went but Sarah and I did. I learned how to play poker which was acctually really fun although the boys kind of killed Sarah and I, who where playing as a team. I had to keep on stealing cookies from the other tables so we could keep playing (we were useing these giant cookies to bet with). lol

School
I am a senior with a full schedule. Not many people who are seniors have a schedule like me but it will be worth it. I am taking Calculus and Adv. Bio. so that I can be valedvictorian. Right now it is between me and my Adv. Bio. teachers son, Michael Scholten.
For violin I am working on a Mozart concerto that I hope I can learn before school is out.
I have an art class at the community college, and I don't really think the teacher is a very good teacher. She never shows us how to do things she just tells us to do projects and read a book. Oh and suprisingly I am the loudest person in that class which never happens.

Crazy For You
I am in the musical called Crazy for You. It is a really fun musical with a lot of tap dancing and is acctually really funny. I am one of the follies girls or show girls. We wear bright pink with very blond wigs. It is a lot of fun. I am happy I did it even though I haven't really had time to deal with anything else in my life because I have always been at play practice. It is really fun to get to work with different people and to be getting close to everyone.
